.As I sit here listening to the sound of the ocean I can't help remembering that my family, like millions of other families sailed from their native land to a new land with the hope of finding freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the possibility of a better life for their children and grandchildren and so much more.  I can only imagine the struggles and challenges they endured on their voyages to the United States of America.

By creating the web sites and homepages and posting our family history online;  we are all honoring our family members who made the choice to cross the oceans, to come to a strange land, with no idea of what to expect.  We honor their names as we search further and further back in time to find the dates of birth, the parents names, etc. in an effort to put together our family tree.

My family lineage goes back to Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, England and Holland.  I'm proud to be an American, yet I'm equally proud to have the heritage of Irish, English, Dutch and German.

.Just as the butterfly is always in motion, so are we in the continuing effort of research for our family history.
.This web site is best viewed on Inernet Explorer.
There has been extensive research done on all of the surnames listed above.  Some of the research has been done by distant family member's that I have made a family connection with, most of whom I've not had the pleasure of meeting, yet.  Other information has been handed down thru the generations in my family and I've done extensive research, also.
Very special thanks to my mom, my aunts and cousins who have been so supportive in my endeavor to research all of my family surnames.

A very special thank you to a lady I've never met in person, and a distant cousin I didn't know I had until a few months ago.  She has become a friend and had it not been for her efforts and research, I'd still be hitting the brick walls on my Parker and Waugh family in England and in Pennsylvania.  Thank you, Cathy.
